How to set up a personal voicemail

Overview

You can set up a personal voicemail greeting that plays to callers when you cannot answer their calls.

When someone leaves you a voicemail it is transcribed so you can read and also listen to the message in the Spoke Phone app. You can also have the voicemail emailed to you so you can read and listen to the voicemail from your email.

Setup a personal voicemail greeting

  1. Open the Spoke Phone app.
  2. Tap the person icon at the bottom of the app.
  3. Tap settings.
  4. Tap my voicemail.
  5. Tap record a new voicemail greeting.
Note: Your Audio files should be in a WAVE (.WAV) format and cannot exceed 
over 10mb in size

Wait time before the voicemail message starts

Control how long a caller waits before your personal voicemail kicks in.

  1. Go to the Spoke Phone app.
  2. Tap the user icon at the bottom.
  3. Select Settings > My voicemail.
  4. Set the Default ring time you want.

Send personal voicemail to email

You can choose to send personal voicemail to your email, as well as voicemails left for any call group that you belong to. Remember that call group voicemail is sent to everyone in the group, not just to you.

  1. Open the Spoke Phone app.
  2. Tap the person icon at the bottom of the app.
  3. Tap settings.
  4. Tap my voicemail.
  5. Turn on the voicemail to email settings that you want.
