Resellers vs. Communication Providers

To submit a UK port request, you will need to find out if your current provider (the company that bills you for your numbers) is a Reseller, or a Communications Provider (otherwise known as a Network Operator).

For porting, we need the name and address of your current Communications Provider. You can ask your reseller for this information, or try and find it yourself using this public resource.

If you submit the port request with the details of your Reseller, the port request will be rejected and you will have to re-start the porting process.
