Overview
This article will provide both Spoke Users and Administrators the ability to turn off the audible Beep heard when calls enter your waiting queue within the CallHub feature.
My CallHub is a unique capability offered on Spoke Phone that gives each user an individual queue made up of calls that they are eligible to answer, ordered and offered in the priority that the company wants them answered.
Spoke Users: Setting Call Waiting Notification Preferences inside the Spoke Phone App
- Open your Spoke App and click on the User icon to open your Profile
- Click on Settings
- Scroll down and click on My CallHub and Voicemail
- Select the phone number that you want as your default CallerID
- Set your Call Waiting Notification preference to Do not beep
Administrators: Setting System-Wide Default Call Waiting Notification Preferences in the Spoke Phone Admin Account Portal
Spoke Administrators are able to manage notification settings for all users in the organization by adjusting the Default call waiting Notification within the Spoke Account Portal.
- Log into the Spoke Phone Account Portal as an Administrator
- Go to Other -> Advanced Other menu and change the Default call waiting notification in the drop down menu to Do not beep.
Note: By default, the values selected for the notification is set to Do not beep.
