Overview:

This article will show you how to use Spoke Phone's conference calling feature. 

It includes the following sections:

Start a conference call

Starting a conference call is easy and can be done from any directory:

  1. Open the Spoke Phone app and tap the Directory icon.
  2. Use the sliding bar at the top to navigate to the relevant tab (Internal, Personal, or External).
  3. Search for the initial contact (or group) and swipe left to access the action keys. 
  4. Tap the conference call button to start the call. 
  5. Next, add other parties by tapping add to call.
  6. This will dial in those contacts with no disruptions to the ongoing call.

Turn an ongoing call into a conference call

Follow the steps below to turn any on-going call into a conference call:

  1. Open your Spoke Phone app to access the in-call options.
  2. If your phone is locked, unlock the screen to view all options. 
  3. Tap on the Add to Call button.
  4. Contacts can be added from any of your directories.
  5. Scroll to find the contact you want to add, then tap Add to Call.
  6. Spoke Phone will immediately start ringing any contacts you add. When they answer, they will immediately be connected to the call. 
  7. If you need to add a contact who is not in your directory, tap the keypad+ icon.
  8. Dial any phone number and tap the Add to call button. 

Create custom conference groups

When you call a custom conference group Spoke Phone will automatically dial and conference everyone in the group. 

Follow the steps below to create a custom conference group for your regular meetings, project calls etc.

  1. During the conference call, open your Spoke Phone app to access the in-call options.
  2. If your phone is locked, unlock the screen to view all options. 
  3. Tap on Open caller info & workflows.

  5. Tap the black Save as group button to save all contacts on the call as a custom conference group. 
  6. Next time you want to start a conference call to this group, go to Directory and navigate to the Home tab to access your custom groups.
