Spoke Phone's apps for mobile phones and computers provide the richest user experience and deliver optimum productivity, efficiency, and revenue outcomes for your business. However, we also understand that in some cases, physical desk phones maybe a better choice.
Spoke Phone supports the use of physical SIP Phones (desk phones). These can be assigned to single users, teams, or specific numbers. Typical use-cases for physical desk phones include meeting rooms, kitchens/break rooms, service centres, warehouses, etc.
Planning for physical desk phones
- If all you need is a handful of desk phones (maybe in common areas, one for the CEO, etc.) then we recommend these specific SIP phones that you add manually one-by-one via the Spoke Phone Account Portal.
- If you want to deploy hundreds or even thousands of desk phones, we recommend the Yealink Wireless Phone & Base Station and that you use Yealink's Zero-Touch Deployment (ZTP) and Management application. The Yealink ZTP app allows your IT team to easily manage and remotely deploy desk phones at scale.
What if you have other SIP phones?
You can use any SIP phone you like, providing you can manually configure that SIP Phone and it supports the SIP Phone credential model used by Spoke Phone. For best results however, we recommend these SIP Phones.
